Advice needed on opening up double reception

Postby Trisha1021D » Fri Jul 10, 2020 7:06 am

Hi everyone

We are buying a mid terraced Victorian in Bennerley and are thinking of removing the wall in the double reception area, therefore opening up the space for a more open floor plan.

We plan on removing only the wall in the second reception area (closer to the kitchen) and keeping the wall in the first reception area (closer to the street). Reason for doing this is to make that second reception area a dining room (and so it can fit our round dining table).

Has anyone done this / considered doing this?

Can you recommend an architecture / building company?

So far we are thinking of going with Clapham Construction.

Thank you so much for your feedback and advice!

Hi
I'd love to see how this works too.

I've really struggled with what to do with the space, as in how do you use the rear section of the living room in a usable way?
