in need of a new kitchen table

Wondering if anyone could reccomend a good place to buy a kitchen table or even have one made. Have looked on J Lewis but not feeling very inspired. Thinking dark wood but doesn't have to be wood and modern that could seat 8 comfortably and possible to extend to 10 or 12 should we ever be allowed

any suggestions very appreciated. Am losing the will.

We have bought a couple over the years from wood empire / WE interiors on Battersea park road and are very happy with them. Oak rather than dark wood though.

Hello, based on my recent experience, don’t buy new. Save your money and re-use some beautiful wood. Honestly check out EBay. Wooden tables that are virtually new resell for about 30% of their original price. Lot of the more modern style ones are light coloured but you could always have it re-stained a darker colour. Search for Cosywood. London based they make wood tables to order to exact size and style. Very reasonable prices.

We use Jointed + Jointed here too regularly, beautiful design, this one seats 6-12, the style is flexible to fit extra chairs under, or a bench seat can tuck under one side.

Petit Miracles in Shepherds Bush often have some interesting bits of furniture. They are a social enterprise, upcycling old bits of furniture training people in the process.

Second cosy wood. Had a beautiful, huge, custom size table made by them. They actually make them in Latvia but payment etc all done in the UK. Very good quality and price
