Many plants for sale after garden re-design - mostly will thrive in shade

Postby Paulette » Thu Sep 23, 2021 4:07 pm

Hello, after a garden redesign I have many plants to sell as they had grown massively. The good news is these are tested for small shady London garden of a busy working mum so they will
- be OK with shade,
- be evergreen or perennials,
- have interesting leaves and shades of green,
- will flower white,
(if not I will flag it).

Here is what I have:

2x hydrangea Wedding Gown, 1m diameter , (white flowers)

2x Skimmia Kew gardens, 70cm  diameter, (green flowers)

1x Skimmia Kew gardens (green flowers) circa 100cm

2x Daphnes on their way to be lollipop-shaped, 70cm high, (white flowers)

2x Daphnes 40cm high, (white flowers)

1x Hebe albicans, (white flowers)

I will sell them for what I think is half the garden centre price (I hang around so often there that I have a good idea) and give proceeds to charity.

If you're interested pop me a message, I can also send you more pictures. Location is off Northcote road.

When I am not working in the City, I am a passionate and amateur gardener that love to get deep in mud!

I have lovely grasses as well:

2x Patches of Melica Altissima Alba grass, 25cm diameter, plus 2 small cut-offs

(The thing on the left in the photo is the Hebe aforementioned, on the right, it's a patch of grass)

1x Carex Comans 'Frosted Curls', 20cm

And some perennials:
2x Veronica Moody Blues (white flowers despite the name!), 30cm

1x Salvia Love and Wishes, 100cm, (dark pink / purple flowers) (left on the photo)
2x Japanese anemones September Charm, 90cm (pink) (right on the photo)

5x Nepeta Snowflake, 45cm, (white flowers)

6x Campanula latifolia var. Macrantha 'Alba',  up to 75cm, various sizes (perennial that puts on leaves very early on and fills in the garden with green nicely when there is nothing else and flowers well from summer onwards)

1x Pincushions Scabious Chile Black, 60cm (perennial, dark flowers)

3x Salvia animo, 100cm, (blue/black flowers)

Hi

There are a couple I am keen on - notably the last purple flowers and the hydrangea.

Do you mind sending me a PM with prices and I could hopefully pop in late Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

Thanks!

I've sent it to you. To be honest I will take any offer. This is for charity giving not for me.  :)

Hello, I’d love to but some of these if any are left as I have lots of space for shady plants and a very limited freelance journalist budget . Do let me know what’s still available and I could collect this pm Monday . Thanks Sudi

Hello, yes these are still available minus 3.

£5 a shrub and I can throw the tiny ones with it for free (or sell just hose for £2 each). It's the end of the season but they perform very well year on year for several years - they've been tested!

Feel free to PM me.

Hello, If someone picks the whole lot I'd be so thrilled!
I would think a very good price for the whole lot with all the little flowering ones would be £100?  I am open to suggestions if that is too much, I can take whatever you feel like giving.
Do PM me.

Any chance the Daphnes are still available?  Just what I am after…
