do tiles on outside walls work?

I saw a few tile decorated outdoor walls in homes magasines over the summer and was thinking about taking the plunge. Has anyone done this? My main question is do they withstand the weather? And is there a good brand of tile to use? Thanks in advance for any answers.

We think so!  This is a personal project for Clara Bee, completed over 2 years ago and it has withstood weather and all conditions so far.  These concrete tiles were from Domus on Queenstown Road.

As with any tile for any project - you need to discuss and confirm with the supplier the specific suitability and requirements for use, installation, preparation required to the wall or floor, adhesive (type and method of application) grout, sealant and maintenance.
