Underfloor heating

Postby handbagsatdawn » Fri Mar 18, 2022 2:08 pm

Wondering if this is enough alone for a kitchen, standard victorian terrace with a side return or of you need radiators as well. Additionally, would it best to go for plumbed heating or electric? Thanks!

You don’t need radiators as well although you get a better result with some sort of hard flooring such as tiles rather than wood as the heat doesn’t penetrate as well in my experience (it still did work though if that’s your preferred option.) If you can get plumbed heating that will be cheaper to run than electric but will be harder to install.
