Quooker taps - are they more energy efficient than boiling a kettle?

Wondering if anyone can help answer my question? I would also like to know if the water is actually boiling? I am a huge tea drinker but wouldn't want to be using anything other than boiling water for my tea leaves? If anyone could help me decide I would be very grateful.

Yes it’s boiling and I think it’s more energy efficient but couldn’t say for sure. I have to say I could never go back to a kettle. I’m sure you won’t regret getting one.

Hi,

If you buy one, will you let us know what it's like? I've only ever used them in offices but I wonder about the time it takes to "recoup" the cost of supply and fit over using a kettle, even at multiple cups of tea each day!

Thanks!
