One of the things I love about living in SW London is the sight and sound of swifts flying over our streets and gardens in the summer months but these amazing birds are endangered especially because their nesting sites are disappearing due to house renovations and redevelopments.
I have bought two nesting boxes from the RSPB and need someone with a ladder (and the tools) to put them up under the eaves A.S.A.P. so can anyone recommend a handyman to do this please? The boxes come with installation instructions and it won’t take long.
Swifts and house martins are flying back home NOW and need our help. If you’d like to learn more look up Hannah Bourne-Taylor’s Feather Speech and you can sign this petition too.
