Looking for an iron recommendation

Very strange question but could someone please recommend an iron that lasts   :? we seem to get through one every 6 months or so. Would be very grateful.

Just buy an extended warranty. These are normally a waste of money but not with irons. Curry’s do them and usually give you a new iron with no quibbles.

Make sure you descale regularly to try and improve the lifespan.
