Recommendations for air conditioning installation

Postby Buttercup » Tue Jun 30, 2015 9:26 pm

Can anyone recommend a company that can install an air conditioning unit? Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

We had air conditioning installed a few years ago. I had lots of companies to quote and went with All Seasons Air Conditioning Services Limited (Tel: 0208 502 4543) Really happy to recommend them. We wanted the unit itself on our main roof up next to our chimney and out of sight, which All Seasons were happy to do. A few other companies wanted to put it in our back garden or on the side return roof. All Seasons sent out a chap called Eddie who was by far the nicest and most knowledgable of all the people that came to quote. They come every year to service it and the guys that come are polite and punctual.

Hi MrsOctober, does the servicing team have any issues getting to your condenser unit given it's up next to the roof? I was also looking to get an air conditioning unit installed in our loft but was told the only place for the condenser is in our garden as it would be near impossible to service it otherwise. That's put us off installing one in the end

They didn't have any problems installing it and have no problem servicing it. We have a large Velux over the landing that opens out onto the flat roof of our mansard. They use a small stepladder and get onto the flat roof. When installing it I think they used some ropes and winched the unit up and out of the French doors. I'm fairly sure they'd done loads of installations like this because they weren't fazed. Every other company that came said it was impossible but I kept going and eventually found All Seasons.

My Dad, Neil Cooper will be able to point you in the right direction as he has his own air conditioning business. He would be more than happy to help. 07836577801. He's been fitting air-conditioning for over 30 years and is a family run business.

If you have children, think of the climate and their future and don't install it - it's a small personal sacrifice you can make.
