Washing machine recommendations?

I need to buy a new washing machine.
Other than Miele, which we are already familiar with, I would love to hear your recommendations re: other brands/models.
It will get quite a lot of use.

Hi

We have had a freestanding Bosch for 9 years and use it for about 10 washes a week.

It has been excellent and has coped with everything we have thrown in it - just needed the brushes replaced once

Just about to replace it with a new Bosch energy efficient model

Have a look at the washing machine reviews on Amazon / John Lewis / AO.com

It's got to be Miele. My step-dad is a (ex-) plumber and swears by that brand
