Where is Mermaid located?
Located next to the Heal's building at 234a Kings Road SW3 5UA (Tube: Sloane Square / South Kensington) the Mermaid Maternity Retreat is the first and only Maternity Retreat in the UK.
What is the Mermaid Maternity Retreat?
It's a boutique maternity hotel which offers new mothers the perfect place to recuperate and learn the best baby-rearing techniques in the first weeks of their new baby's life. In addition to 12 beautifully designed en-suite bedrooms overlooking the Kings road, the retreat boasts a full wellness therapies, activity studios, 24 hour Maternity nursing care and a contemporary on-site restaurant. Pregnant mothers can join a range of fitness and therapy sessions, as well as book weekend stays into the retreat on one of our Preparing for Parenting courses. We also offer city-break style stays for those with new babies looking for top-end London accommodation which actively encourages babies!
What's happening at the Open day?
All mums to be, new mums, their partners and children are invited to come and join us in celebrating our first birthday. We've got fun things for the kids (children's entertainer) and we're offering free treatments to anyone who pre-books a slot (email hello@mermaid.co.uk) as well as all kinds of pregnancy advice and information about our activity studio. You will be able to tour the retreat, enjoy complimentary smoothies and refreshments from the restaurant, enter our prize draw for a free stay at Mermaid and the first 100 guests will be given a special Mermaid Goody bag.
