Au Pair meet-up wandsworth or nearby?

Postby aecleland » Mon Jul 14, 2014 12:06 am

Hi, my lovely new Au Pair has just arrived this week to live with us and take care of my little boy age 5 - I am trying to help her meet some friends in the area, for playdates or socialising. We are in Tonsleys / Wandsworth Town. She is 24 and speaks good english + fluent german & polish, but is really keen to meet other Au Pairs or nannies from all nationalities. If you live in SW18 / SW11 / SW15 or SW6 & think you can help (perhaps you also have an Au Pair who is quite new to London?) please drop me a note and we can take it from there! Many thanks, AC

I have one! She is new to London and is looking after my twin boys aged three.

Do you want to PM me her number so we can swap. Mine is lovely, Polish called Magda. She's bright and has a good sense of humour. We are based in SW17

We also have one. She's Italian and very keen to go out and about & "see" London. We are based in the Heaver Estate but she's very happy to travel to meet up!

We've got a brilliant au pair from Spain who has made lots of friends. She is always up for meeting new people.

A few of us were discussing perhaps organising a drink for them all early in September. It's tricky this time of year as so many are away but we will try and organise something early in September. Meanwhile I can message you Irene's number if that's helpful.

Hi, our new German au pair arrived yesterday and would love to meet other locally-based girls. She also speaks some French as well as great English. We're in SW17 between Wandsworth Common and Tooting Bec. Please do let me know if your girls would like to arrange a meet-up. Best wishes, Sharon

We are also between Wandsworth Common & Tooting Bec. Our wonderful Czech au pair is with us until the end of August. Sadly not long left but she's always keen to meet new people & all of her good friends have left London over the last month so I'd like her to get out & have fun!

Incidentally (hope not too cheeky) if any of your au pairs have friends interested in working here then I'd be most grateful to discuss with them. We all adore our current au pair, she is a friend of another friend's au pair. It has worked very well as they had each other for support etc. We will need someone special from Sept 1st.

Many thanks.

just incase you want to tell your au pairs there is meet up for them at 7.30 at County Arms, in the conservatory tomorrow (tuesday) evening. We hope parents will give them £20 spending money (if they can) so they can enjoy a few drinks on us!

Also have a lovely au-pair looking to meet people - shall we set something up or put them in touch?

How about we arrange something? Either drinks in balham one evening or coffee and cake one weekend afternoon
