Do leaflets really work?

I just chuck them all in the bin (and my front door has a sticker saying 'No junk mail' which gets ignored).

Please no more leaflets.

Does that mean you'll stop tacking your leaflets on every single tree in my street?

While it may or may not damage the tree, I would not consider using a gardener who does that.
