Quality but affordable garden furniture?

Postby boonkoh » Mon Dec 24, 2018 3:15 pm

Looking for some garden furniture (table and a set of chairs, storage) that doesn't cost the earth but will last for at least a few years.

Indian ocean is nice, but way too expensive.
Homebase and B&Q look good, but I question how good quality they are.

Any other recommendations and options for garden furniture? What have you bought that you've been pleased about?

We bought some garden furniture from John Lewis few years ago and it is going strong considering that we don't bother covering it in winter.

If you are looking for affordable patio furniture, you better check IKEA, Argos, and B&Q. But quality is not the best one. You can also check John Lewis or other stores, but the price is too high, and they do not have much choice. However, the quality is the best one. If you don’t mind waiting, you can try ordering patio furniture from GardenFurniture.co.uk They have affordable prices, and the quality is not bad. I usually don’t mind buying furniture online from verified stores. I bought my patio furniture from this store. It took a while for the delivery, but it is worth waiting for it. Besides, the quality is good, and they also have all-weather options.

Try Jo Alexander. Back in the day they used to have a mini event in Chatham Hall at Easter time but that won't be happening this year

Look on ebay for second hand or indeed, new cast iron sets - they add a lot of character to your garden, you can paint them and upgrade them - they last for years, and you can sell them on when you're done with them. They are really good in the british weather...You can use covers, but even if you don't they weather really well! Good luck ;o)
