Are there any enclosed dog areas in local parks?

Postby golfwidow » Tue May 28, 2019 12:33 pm

Hello!

We occasionally look after a friend's dog, and while they are fantastically well behaved, whenever I take it for a walk I'm very nervous about letting it off the lead when we are in public places, as I'm paranoid they'll run off and I'll never see them again!

So, I was wondering if there are any dog-friendly areas in the local parks that are fenced off and so I don't need to worry about that? (I know of a couple in Fulham, but not round Wandsworth.)

If not, no matter, I'll just end up getting fit attempting to run along, to give the dog a decent bit of exercise!

Someone mentioned the park at the bottom of Burntwood Lane to me. I’ve not been there though...
