Birthday parties in Battersea Park - bookings now open

Postby Community Editor » Tue Jun 25, 2019 1:14 pm

Couples have been able to enjoy the backdrop of Battersea Park for a romantic wedding venue for a  while now, but now you can host your kid's birthday party there too!

Enable Leisure and Culture services in partnership with Wandsworth Council has taken over a new area of the park to host children's parties. To find out more email Tess on thillier@enablelc.org

For all those summer babies, what could be more special than having a birthday party in one of London's most beautiful parks!

If it’s just out on the grass, can’t you just use whatever space you want anyway? ..that’s what a park is for, surely?

No doubt yet more privatisation/commercialisation of our public green spaces.

My guess is that it is the bowling green near to the bandstand
It’s been out of action for a few years but there appeared to be a wedding being set up when we walked past a few weeks ago

I don’t know what facilities the pavilion has inside but it could potentially make a lovely spot for a wedding or party. I’m intrigued to what they think they can get away with charging for childrens’ parties though
