I cook fresh food for my own family daily. I sometimes batch cook depending on the type of meal. It’s is always packed with vegetables and lower in meat.
I’ve often thought about cooking for another family, helping out with the logistics of working family life. I have friends who struggle to find the time and have help.
I was Head of Design at a publishers and after redundancy I decided to have a career brake while my son was still young.
My friends rave about my cooking. Mostly homely meals. A normal week can range from jacket potatoes, cheese and homemade coleslaw, homemade soups, pasta sauces, fish cooked with capers and herbs with new potatoes. There can be roast one day, lamb and spinach curry the next. Many meals are slow cooked to let flavours really develop.
Ideally you’d invest in a slow cooker and you’d be coming home to delicious smells filling the kitchen, ready to serve.
I’m not qualified but for 25 years of home cooking and some happy customers.
