Kids Birthday Cake

Can anyone personally recommend an independent cake maker or shop that does themed birthday cakes for children, that adults can enjoy equally?

I’ve previously brought children’s birthday cakes and they look great but the taste doesn’t match or they are just too sweet or dry.

She made a Gruffalo cake for my eldest birthday party that was gorgeous and devoured by both adults and children.
