Volunteering for 15 y old ?

My 15 year old son would like to do some volunteering work for a week or two during the summer.
It is apparent quite difficult to find before 16.
I would be grateful for any recommendations!

My son did some volunteering at a local church. They were running a cafe at the time and he helped with that for his D of E. Hope that helps.
