Trick or treating

Postby Divkum89 » Tue Oct 19, 2021 7:08 pm

Hi, we’ve just moved to Clapham ‘between the commons’ to be specific with 2 young kids. My 4 year old is really looking forward to halloween so was wondering if there is any trick or treating in the area? I see some houses have already decorated their houses!! Thanks

Hello,

Yes some houses do open their doors to trick or treaters but only ones that are very obviously decorated, lit up and often a carved pumpkin with a light inside on Halloween night is a sign that they home is open to trick or treaters. Try the area around Hillier Road.

We're doing Halloween for the first time this year (children finally old enough) and wondered what treats people tend to give out? DD is lack toast intolerant so I'm curious if there are any dairy free options.

If you are saying that dairy is an issue you should be well catered for.
There are always lots of packets of Haribo,
starbursts, lollipops etc. Have fun!

OMG this area is Trick or Treat Central. Just walk along the roads near your house and you’ll be bound to find lots of houses with pumpkins outside. In a good year we get at least a couple of hundred little (and some not so little) kids in fancy dress knocking at the door. Some come from miles away - this is obviously the place to be!
