Send your young adventurer off for a summer of action, friendship, and personal development this year in the most wholesome and healthy of settings, the Swiss Alps. They will join either the Junior Camp or Senior Camp to ensure their Camp Suisse experience is tailored perfectly to their age.
Highlights of the Camp Suisse program include lively and engaging language study, husky dog sledding on a glacier, banana boating on Lake Geneva, paddle boarding, climbing, mountain biking, archery, sports coaching, team building, and as much freedom and fresh mountain air as your child desires. Oh, and no screens! (Except for the daily half hour window in which access to devices is allowed to contact home!)
Junior Campers
Our younger campers, aged 7-11, are divided into the Red and Blue groups, where they are introduced to the summer camp environment with a focus on safety, learning, and fun. With smaller groups, age-specific activities, and a low child to staff ratio, the junior camp provides a closely supervised and developmental experience for camp enthusiasts, offering opportunities to make new friends, try new activities, and explore new environments.
Senior Campers
For older campers, the program allows them to discover their talents and mature as young adults among like-minded peers from around the world. The senior campers aged 12-14 join the Green Group, while those aged 15-17 join the Yellow Group. The Senior camp program emphasises self-discovery, skill development, and forming lasting friendships that will extend far beyond their time at camp.
In the Green Group (12-14 years old), teenagers are grouped with 8-10 other students for the duration of their camp, providing them with more discreet supervision and the opportunity to focus on building friendships with similar-minded individuals from different countries.
In the Yellow Group (15-17 years old), as the most senior age group at Camp Suisse, teenagers are given slightly more freedom to encourage personal responsibility in their daily lives. As campers progress through the age groups, there is an increased emphasis on becoming role models for the rest of the camp and learning to manage their time and responsibilities. The Yellow Group plays a vital role in creating the fantastic international atmosphere at Camp Suisse, serving as a crucial link between the staff and the campers.
