Calling all expectant mamas! In our Seven Lion Yard wellbeing studio we have some amazing pregnancy classes and a workshop coming up this August and September.

Breathwork and Deep Rest for Pregnancy Class

When: Thursday 8th, 15th and 22nd August at 6-6.45pm

These are a mindful series of classes to relax and replenish your energy, during all stages of pregnancy. Using a blend of gentle movement, breathwork, and deep rest, these practices help prepare your body and mind for birth and postpartum. This is a peaceful time in your week to be with your growing baby, your body, and other pregnant mamas, processing whatever is coming up for you on the day.

You can come to one or all of the classes for our usual drop in rate, use a regular class credit or attend all three for just £11 per class if you purchase our three pregnancy class package offer. Simply add the class to your basket and select this package at checkout.

Bump and Mind Workshop

When: Sunday 8th September, 10.30am-1pm

Led by Dr Charlotte Akinyemi, perinatal Clinical Psychologist and Zoe Wood, breathwork and meditation coach.

Pregnancy  and the transition into parenthood is a transformational time, impacting our body, mind, emotions and sense of self. Typical antenatal groups can be incredibly useful to learn information and practical tools for childbirth and early childcare. What they have less space for is processing the experience of pregnancy and preparing emotionally for new parenthood.  Times of change are when support is needed most and this  workshop  is a peaceful and compassionate space to collectively process, celebrate and prepare psychologically for the work of birthing and raising a new life!

The experience:
  1. Connect with other local expectant mums
  2. Reflect on your  pregnancy  journey so far, including the wonders and challenges of this time
  3. Prepare emotionally for birth and the postpartum transition to parenting, by practicing self-compassion and gratitude through mindfulness and imagery exercises
  4. Release anxiety through breathwork to support your nervous system
  5. Unwind tension in the body through somatic movement and deep rest
  6. Leave feeling centred for an empowered birth and postpartum
