FINAL Christmas Tree Festival 2024 – Banner .png

The Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary Magdalene Wandsworth Common is back! 7th December 4pm-6.30pm

This is the 12th year!

There's nothing more magical than strolling through the Victorian church with a glass of mulled wine, a mince pie, surrounded by a forest of sparkling Christmas trees. Each tree is sponsored by a local business, a charity, a local family or group, with its own unique and imaginative decoration. The kids enjoy some fun activities and even get to visit Santa in his grotto and get a present. Plus there are refreshments and stalls including beautiful floral decorations, home produce and craft. Make sure you visit before stocks run out, perhaps let the children enjoy craft activities or enjoy the model trains (steam and clockwork), while you sup a cup of tea or some mulled wine.
Entry is just £2 and children are free and get a free present from Santa!
The Christmas Tree prize draw is also back with some fantastic prizes including:
- Year's annual membership to National Art Pass, National Trust, Kew Gardens or Tate,
- £80 Philglass and Swiggot Voucher + bottle opener and corkcicle,
- reCentre Voucher,
- Backstory Voucher £50 x2,
- Hot Diamonds pair of earrings,
- Stationary bundle,
- Luxury soap collection,
- Wimbledon memorabilia bundle x 2

All proceeds go towards the Awareness Foundation, Registered charity in England & Wales (No 1099873).
The Awareness Foundation is an international charity, which builds peace through education, equipping and empowering children and young people in the Middle East to be agents of love and reconciliation. It was founded by our very own Revd. Nadim Nassar. As the Middle East is in turmoil, the Awareness Foundation work to promote peace is only more essential. Please help support this important work to bring hope and inspire and empower young people and children to be peacemakers.

The trees will be decorating the church throughout the advent period including during Christmas Carols on 15th at 5pm. To see all the details of Christmas service click here.
