Recommendations for Endocrinologist?

Postby lifechanger » Thu Apr 13, 2017 9:14 am

Hi,

I am looking for a Endocrinologist that also accepts / treats Adrenal Fatigue. I have been tested and have been found to be in Adrenal Fatigue (I also suffer from Hashimoto disease - underactive thyroid). Unfortunately my current Endocrinologist is very dismissive of adrenal fatigue and I am struggling to receive the proper medical treatment. Any suggestions for a more open minded Endocrinologist would be gratefully received!

I see Prof Leslie at the Lister for Hashimotos and some related conditions, and he has been very good
It might be worth speaking to his secretary to see if he covers Adrenal Fatigue?

I've been seeing dr Paul Carroll London Bridge hospital for years for a different condition and he's great so worth checking if he covers yours.

I would also recommend Dr Paul Carroll (though my thyroid condition was pregnancy related so not the same as yours). I found him to be very approachable and thorough.

Dr mantzourani is not an endocrinologist but a private gp on Harley st who specialises in endocrinology and hormones. She is a total whizz with thyroid stuff and treats adrenal fatigue successfully and often.
She is compassionate, professional, caring, really knows her stuff and will give you great confidence about your health. Can't recommend her highly enough.

I would highly recommend Roderick Lane, who has a Naturopathic doctorate and a PHD in Natural Medicine. He has a practice in W1 (New Cavendish Road) and also practices in Jersey, Channel Islands.

He's going to be one of the experts I interview for this years PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) Summit that I host and I could listen to his teachings on the Endocrine system all day long.

He's written and co-authored a couple of books on Women's and Hormonal Health and has another book on Menopause coming out soon. He's been voted 3 years in a row on Tatler Magazine as one of the UK's leading practitioners of modern medicine.

http://rodericklane.co.uk/about-me/ is his web site with contact details.
