A-level results were also outstanding, with 8% of grades at A*, three quarters of grades at A* or A, 19 students achieving three or more A*, almost 90% securing their first choice of university, plus the school’s strongest-ever science results. Students achieved 57% of grades at A* in Biology, 45% of grades at A*A, 95% at A*A in Chemistry, 36% of grades at A* and 73% at A*A in Physics. Oxbridge results were among Putney’s best ever with 13 students taking up places.
