Hale Preparatory School, an independent co-educational day school located in the south of Manchester, was founded in 1980. The inspection recommended that the school further enable pupils to expand their learning beyond set tasks and apply their well-developed ICT skills more fully across the curriculum. While the school provides a wide range of extracurricular activities, there is room for improvement in embedding opportunities for pupils to use their initiative and creativity in all lessons.
