St Nicholas' School is an independent day school located in Fleet, Hampshire, educating girls from the age of three to sixteen and boys from three to seven. Founded in 1935, the school moved to its current thirty-acre rural site in 1996. The school maintains a Christian ethos while welcoming pupils of all faiths and none, and it is overseen by a board of governors. The current headmistress has been in position since 1995. The school aims to encourage pupils to achieve high academic standards and to benefit from a range of aesthetic and physical opportunities, fostering confidence and self-esteem in a caring environment.
Currently, St Nicholas' School educates 356 pupils across three departments: infants, juniors, and seniors. The school admits boys and girls to the infant department, which includes the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Years 1 and 2, while the junior and senior departments are for girls only. The pupils come from diverse backgrounds, primarily from professional and business families within a 20-mile radius of the school. The ability of pupils is above average, with a small number receiving support for special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and English as an additional language (EAL).
