The Prebendal School, an independent co-educational day and boarding institution located in Chichester, has a rich history dating back to the 11th century. It serves as the chorister school for Chichester Cathedral and is governed by a board of governors. The school comprises three sections: a nursery for children aged three to four, a pre-preparatory department for pupils in Reception to Year 2, and a preparatory department for Years 3 to 8. Boarding is available from Year 3, with separate accommodations for male and female boarders.
The interim headteacher, Mrs. Alison Napier, has been in her position since September 2022, while the chair of governors, Mr. Ali Khan, took office in June 2022.
