Is this your nanny?

Last Updated on : 14th October 2021

Dear NappyValleyNetter,

At Sunday lunch Mr NVN was carving the chicken when my little niece said, “isn’t it weird that the chicken we eat has the same name as the chickens that lay eggs.”

My eldest choked off an evil laugh as I kicked him under the table, preventing him from delivering the devastating news that she was about to eat one of the fluffy yellow birds she painstakingly crafts every Easter.

And that’s also why I’m now wondering whether she’ll make the connection between her favourite ham and cheese sandwich and Ms. Peppa Pig.

Here’s what you’ve been talking about this week on NappyValleynet:

CCP. is concerned about the treatment of a baby on Clapham Common last Friday. She feels very strongly that “if this was her child she’d want to know.” (read more). Thank you for posting CCP. and if the description sounds familiar please do make contact with the OP.
