Man stabbed in front of children on Heaver Estate. Working with celebrities, how do I behave? Costs and financial returns of lofts, basements and side returns.

Dear NappyValleyNetter,

Mr NVN has just come back from a week away in China.

He works for a tech start-up company and as they don’t do business class, it’s coach all the way.

As a result he gets to know his seat neighbours pretty well.

“How was the flight?” I asked as he was dumping a weeks worth of laundry in the magic bin (magic because everyone but me seems to think it goes effortlessly from there to their drawers all washed and ironed).

“Bit weird to be honest,” he replied.

“Lady on my right kept going on about the books she was reading.

“She said one was a serious study about how to speak with the spirits of those that have “passed” into the afterlife and the other was about the “language” of cats and how to communicate with them.

“I asked her whether once she had read both books would she be able to communicate with dead cats, which seemed an obvious question, but she said no and was a little aloof after that so I actually managed to get some sleep”.
