Summer holiday camps and workshops coming up
The recently opened Woodfield Project on Tooting Common is running an art camp for the whole of next week for those aged 7+. It’s entitled Into The Woods and during the camp children will be turning the world of fairy tales upside down (read more).
With everyone’s love of The Lion King currently at an all-time high, children age 4-11 can be part of their own big cat show with Little Voices’ Lion King Summer Camp running at Belleville School next week (read more).
From Africa’s Pride Lands to up into the air, Flying Fantastic is running an aerial summer camp next week for children age 7+ in Wimbledon which will culminate in a show to parents where you’ll get to see all of the children’s cool new tricks! (read more)
If Harry Potter is more your child’s thing Stars Performing Arts Clubs are running a Harry Potter camp for children age 8+ The week will finish with a performance in the Tara Theatre, complete with lighting, costumes and props! (read more)
Amanda’s Action Club and MAMAcodes are teaming up to host an interactive physical activity and coding workshop this Saturday morning, to exercise both body and minds of 3-5 year olds! (read more)
Eddie Catz Wimbledon is hosting a sand workshop next Friday morning. Great for anyone who has been inspired whilst away at the beach (read more).
Pass Tutors are running Wandsworth Test Workshops during the week after the August Bank Holiday weekend. The workshops will give children the opportunity to sit both NVR and VR tests in exam conditions. They will also go through the tests and concepts in small groups and take part in an organised sport activity (read more).
Miniversity Creative Learning Club is holding a summer camp at Chelsea Academy where children will learn about various careers through the use of ICT, such as being a movie director, architect and blogger for the day, cool! (read more)
Role models are running a creative problem-solving course also at Chelsea Academy. The week includes lots of fun activities which will encourage children to use their critical thinking to solve problems and use their creativity to come up with new ideas and designs (read more).
