Ed Sheeran celebrated his 30th birthday in Balham

Does that mean we're now a cool place?

Oh, the shame of it all. I just had to google Ed Sheeran to see who he is.

I think Ed Sheeran lives on G****** Road, I'm sure I've seen him in the Bolingbroke pub a few times (probably shouldn't mention the road!!)

Marcus Brigstock is in the Nightingale pub sometimes.

However he doesn't feel like a celeb, more like a local chap who happens to be on telly :-)

I kind of know it's unlikely but I would have put money that I saw Tate Donovan from Damages, cycling down Nightingale Lane on Friday. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004883/bio? ... _ov_bio_sm
Maybe there's some filming going on locally?

Not stalking honest :D

Jemima Khan driving a very un environmentally friendly 4x4 along Lavender Hill at the weekend (thought she would be in a Prius!).

Gordon Ramsay, wife and many children in Barker & Stonehouse (the new furniture shop in Battersea near the river) albeit a couple of weeks ago...wasn't a fan but he gave me a huge flirty grin and said hello at least three times as our paths crossed which was embarrasing as his rather tired looking wife saw the whole thing each time.

Will Self is always stomping around the Clapham Common tube area.

Joanna Lumley in Brixton...literally bumped into her (!) although I know she lives Oval/Kennington way. She was even more divine, gracious, stunning and absolutely fabulous than she appears on television. A true star!

And the lovely Pippa M might be moving to Battersea, bet the daddies will be queuing up to have her as a neighbour :)

Strange but true...

Micheal Grade - TV Mogul and once head of BBC2 and Channel 4 etc lives on the Magdalen Estate...

Being a petrolhead I noticed that his rather ordinary Audi saloon has the words "Bentley V8" written on it with those cheap stick on letters you get in Halfords...

Maybe it's an in joke, ie he wanted a Bentley but his wife said no - hence the Audi with a funny badge :D

From Guardian

An action-packed sniper scene of Kiefer Sutherland’s hit show 24: Live Another Day is set to be filmed in Battersea Park.

A letter from Twentieth Century Fox Television has been distributed to neighbouring residents stating that the crew will be filming in London until the middle of June and, for two nights, they would like to film in Battersea Park.

I saw Tate Donovan at le petit Boulanger on abbeville road while I was waiting to buy coffee. Have seen him also on his bike. I assume he is living here while 24 is filming, maybe we might see Kiefer Sutherland too?
