Disposable Nappies to give to charity

Postby Katerossetti » Wed Sep 17, 2014 3:11 pm

I have several packets of disposable nappies size 2 and 3, and I'm looking for an organisation or charity to donate them to. My little one grew so quickly we didn't get a chance use them up. The make is Just 4 bums, which in my experience are just as good as pampers. Anyone know of an organisation, nursery, charity in Clapham which would appreciate them please let me know.

Here's the info regarding donating to the Wandsworth Foodbank http://wandsworth.foodbank.org.uk/ As you can see they are currently overrun with nappies in sizes 2-4, but if you live near another Foodbank you could donate there? Or sell them at a slightly discounted price on here and give the money to Foodbank instead?

Or you could contact a charity working with vulnerable women locally? Eg http://wandsworth.childrensservicedirec ... annel=2212

Hello,

Have you tried a Health Visitors Centre? There is one now in the Mary Seacole Centre where the Clapham Library is located.
Years ago they happily accepted some that I had left from an over-enthusiastic purchase...
