Little Voices is an outstanding performing arts camp for young people. Children aged 4-13 years will be transported through four days of script-learning, singing and dancing working towards a final performance to showcase to friends and family. Running from 9.30am-3.30pm each day, the camps are a great opportunity for children to grow in confidence, learn new skills, meet new friends and, most importantly, have fun during the holidays! Parents love them too. One mum recently wrote to Little Voices and said: “Little Voices camps have been THE half term/summer favourite. My daughter is smitten. Thanks Little Voices for setting up and providing us with this creative wonderfulness.”
Open Air Fit is running a summer full of fun and active outdoor camps in the Dog Free Zone on Wandsworth Common (by the Skylark Café). The camps are filled with lots of energy whilst providing an opportunity to play a sport you might never have played before, such as baseball or handball, alongside the more traditional games of football, rugby, athletics, lacrosse and cricket, and are available to everyone aged 4-14 years old. The safe and engaging sessions ensure that all participants are physically and socially engaged throughout the whole camp. Open Air Fit will offer children the opportunity to forge new friendships whilst also looking to develop new skills relative to different sports. Camps are filled with several surprises and if it’s warm enough, the coaches might even get to launch the ever-popular water balloons!
Zebra Skate is a rollersports camps for 4-12 year olds. During the camp, children will learn skateboarding and rollerblading, from beginners rolling forwards, turning and stopping, and then on to more advanced techniques. Skate Camp is not just about skating – camp teaches kids about life skills; making friends, individual endeavours, team work and for the more able, taking responsibility for their group in the form of leading group games. The camps consist of small groups taking part in engaging and practical activities which bring a mixture of direct teaching of the skills and strategies needed to feel confident with Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. The aim is to secure subject knowledge and offer further revision, while improving confidence, pace and accuracy when tackling V and NV Reasoning questions. There is also a focus on test technique and timed practice.
