Dear NappyValleyNetter,

I want to open this week with a topic which could be filed under ‘Boring But Very Important.’

It looks like the ultra low congestion zone will be expanded to reach South West London much much sooner than expected and, if I’ve read it correctly it, this means that in less than a year you could have to pay over a tenner to drive around Nappy Valley (read more).

As with all these schemes the devil is in the detail, but as an example. if you live south of Battersea Rise you would have to pay a charge to visit the Wandsworth tip!

I’m not the only one who is worried.

Wandsworth Council have asked the Mayor to consider a rethink but this does seem to be a potentially very divisive initiative (click here)
