It has been announced today that The Hampshire School Chelsea is a finalist for the prestigious award of Junior Prep School of the Year in the annual ISA Awards, run by the Independent Schools Association (ISA). Of the three finalists in this main category, The Hampshire School Chelsea is the only London prep school shortlisted.
Moreover, The Hampshire School is also a finalist in a second category new for 2020, that of Innovation in Pupil Voice. This is an area integral to the school’s ethos, to give pupils the opportunity to make a real and valued difference to the development of the school.
Head Dr Pam Edmonds said: “We are delighted that we have been recognised for the exceptional learning journey we provide our pupils. We blend academic rigour with art, music and sport and a Growth Mindset to create well-rounded pupils who have the confidence to succeed.”
Jennie Quillen, spokesperson for ISA, said: ”The quality of entries were very high, and the judges were particularly impressed by the work taking place in the school.”
The ISA Awards celebrates success in ISA member schools and recognises the breadth of quality and provision in independent education across the country. The winners will be announced in February 2021.
