Thinking of converting your loft into a room?  Loft conversions are amazing ways to add extra space and value to any home, but sometimes those tricky sloping roofs mean that valuable space can be lost.  There’s no need to panic as Simply Loft, your local London loft conversion experts have come up with some ingenious space saving and storage ideas to suit most types of loft conversions.

  1. Eaves Storage

The sloping ceilings and eaves in all loft conversions are ideal places to store various items.  These drawers we installed for a client are perfect for organising or storing clothes in.

1. Built in wardrobes

Ina loft conversion where space is tight its important to use as much floor to ceiling space as possible, so why not use one side of your wall to create some bespoke built in wardrobes?  The Simply Loft team are able to work with you to create your ideal storage space as we did for a client in the following example:

For smaller loft conversions why not try installing a folding door to your ensuite bathroom?  This will allow more space between a bed and a bathroom door and leave your new loft conversion room feeling less cluttered.

Empty fire places make a perfect storage space! In this example, our client used theirs to place a set of drawers in.
