A fine dining (at home) treat for Mother’s Day.

Last Updated on : 10th March 2021

This Mother’s Day will hopefully be an experience never to be repeated. As any good restauranteur will tell you, Mother’s Day is one of the lynchpins of the catering year.

Rather than the serried ranks of couples that you see on Valentine’s Day, this is often an event for the entire family. Sadly, this year we won’t be able to treat our favourite people in their favourite eateries, but we can at least bring some of the magic home.

TheEarlsfield Kitchen, known for their fine dining at home meal kits, look like they’ve gone the extra mile this Mother’s Day. Meal kits combine the best in gourmet take away, with that just cooked taste and even a chef as untalented as me has been able to follow the detailed instructions.

This year you choose between starters such as chicken liver pate, smoked wild bass or even spicy cauliflower salsify terrine. Mothering Sunday is of course a Sunday and so the mains offer a choice between beef, chicken and a pumpkin and nut roast. For those mothers who are anti roast there’s also a delicious salmon en croute.

The puddings on offer are a chocolate brownie and the superb Eton mess. If you want to treat your family or just make the experience more bearable for yourself, there’s a special offer champagne or a set of 5 cocktails available for just £25.

The menu is available at £20 for two or £25 for three courses. Contact the kitchen directly to order for pickup on Saturday the 13th or Sunday the 14th of March.
