End of season chimney sweeping

If you have had your last fire of the season, it's a good time to think about getting your open fire or wood-burner swept in readiness for next winter. The benefits of getting it done now are as follows :

To prevent any danger of a soot-fall during the summer ( this can happen when soot is left in the chimney and disturbed by wind or building work )

To preserve the life of your chimney, or chimney liner by removing harmful deposits.

Chimney sweeping is cheaper at this time of year - £65 now compared to £70 during the busy season from Sept to Feb.

Chimney sweeps have much more availability at this time of year.

Please call or text on 07421 385 091 or email sweep@tootsweep.com for an appointment at a time convenient to you.

Sweeping takes about an hour, and is soot & dust free - I use dust sheets to contain any mess, and a powerful vacuum to take it away, so your carpet & furniture will not be in danger from the soot that is removed.

Regards, Ian at TootSweep.
