Thanks all. No camera I'm afraid. I am insured but the badge part that is damaged is akin to finding a unicorn. The rest of it will be repairable. It's just disappointing that someone didn't have the class to do the right thing.

That's awful, I hope that someone owns up.
Have you checked houses and the streets for cameras? It's against the law to damage and leave so perhaps you could check this out?

Horrible. Sorry to hear that. We were admiring your car on Sunday.

I hope so one spotted something.

Hi All,

Many of you know that I have a 1957 Austin A35 white in colour. I love this car and it was our wedding car and I spend a considerable amount of money keeping it in good shape on the road.

You can imagine my disappointment when returning to the car yesterday about 6.45pm finding a very large dent in the front grill. The dent is consistent with a tow bar. My disappointment was compounded to find that the person who did it didn't leave a note. Given the size of the dent it is impossible the drive wasn't aware of the impact.

If anyone saw the car being hit outside Belleville School on Belleville Road side on Monday afternoon I'd appreciate a message. I'm now left to scour the globe (no kidding) for a part that has been damaged beyond repair.

Thanks,

Julian
