There is a class at Union Station Yoga on Lavender Hill on Sunday mornings. It's quite gentle and involves story telling, breathing and movement. I would say it would be suitable for children aged 4-8. My daughter loves it, but it's more of a nice thing to do together than a part of my practice. I have also taken her to the outdoor Lulu Lemon classes at Duke of York Square in the summer, and no one seems to mind. She joins in for a bit, before doing some colouring in on her mat.

Hi

I have a feeling I replied to you via Facebook  - but if not, I am running a family workshop during the half term in Tooting Bec/ Balham.

Natalie.x
Family Yoga Workshop for parents and children (pre-teen/ teens) This will be a 2 hour workshop that will allow us to share family yoga through creative partner yoga, playful yoga, breathing exercises, mindfulness and relaxation. The yoga session will be the perfect time to encourage playfulness and creative thinking, bringing conversation that opens exploration (on and off the mat) and validates the child’s experience. The focus being on the cognitive process rather than the result. Date:Wednesday 20th February 201911:00 am - 1:00pm Venue:Indigo Light Studios239 Balham High Road (entrance on Streathbourne Road)SW17 7BENearest tube: Tooting Bec Price:1 Adult and 1 child - £30(Additional child £10) Capacity:20

Hi

I'm a local yoga teacher and I know a bit about what's going on locally. Whilst I don't teach family yoga there are sessions at Shala Yoga SE27 9EZ. Another good source of high quality yoga teachers is the British Wheel of Yoga. They have a search function on their website. https://www.bwy.org.uk/

Namaste!
