I think I saw the same dog on Thursday afternoon, around 5.30pm on the same path. It came shooting across and knocked over a smallish dog that was walking about 15-20m ahead of me, near its owner. The owner intervened very rapidly and managed to get the large dog off his dog, but it looked like the large dog was trying to bite the smaller dog. The large dog looked like it might be a husky. The owner was in the middle of that bit of Common by the station, didn’t look remotely bothered by what had just happened and never even attempted to speak to the other owner.

The law needs to change.
 

I don't know this particular dog but I would like to add that there seems to be an increasingly number of aggressive dogs around on both Wandsworth and Clapham Common. They are seldom on leads and often jumping up at small children. I saw one get knocked over by a large dog last week. No apology from the owner of course. Infuriating. If you are a dog owner of a large or excitable dog, please don't assume that everyone likes dogs. 'he's' or 'she's' very friendly / won't bite etc doesn't cut it at all I'm afraid and especially not for small children.

Does anyone know the dog pictures below ? I was walking my 2 large dogs on leads on the road out of Wandsworth Common Station when I heard an odd kind of growling behind me . I turned around when this brown and white husky aggressively leapt towards my poodle and started viciously attacking him . The husky was off lead and the male owner with a young teen did and said absolutely nothing . He stood and watched . As my dog is not a fighter and was crying and whimpering I picked him up whilst keeping my collie away and chased the husky off .
Does anyone know this dog . It clearly should not or ever be off lead and the owner needs some training .
I had kept screaming for help and for him to put a lead on it but he did nothing . As I moved off he finally put a lead on .
It was extremely upsetting especially since I have 2 dogs.
