My wedding is over and my bridal gown is taking up huge space in my shared closet. I think I must sell my dress, as I know I am never going to wear it again. Please suggest me where can I sell my wedding dress.

What a lovely idea, was wondering what to do with my wedding dress and veil which have been hanging in the cupboard for years and years…… After seeing your post, I took them to Johnsons Cleaners in Wimbledon Village who pass on the donated wedding dresses to the Wishing Well Foundation. Delighted to help a really good cause in some way :)

I think it is lovely that you are prepared to donate your wedding gown to a good home/ cause - there are probably a number of charities looking for gowns, but you might try:

Selling or giving away my wedding dress

Hi there

I wonder if anyone has a bright idea what to do with my wedding dress, currently taking up too much room in a wardrobe! I recently tried to sell it in through a second hand shop in Surrey, via a wedding dress online store, Gumtree etc - all with no luck.

It's perfect condition, size 10, from a really nice store. Cost me about £1.2k back in 2008.

I'd really like for it to have another outing, but clearly there is no market for this. Other than Freecycle, any ideas what to do with it? I don't mind giving it away to a good home.

thanks!!
