its £10 an hour for any age it doesnt go by age i'v been a nanny for 27 years and never heard of pay by different ages .

I pay £8 for 3 children. it mostly depend on the nanny's experience and level of English.

Yes, it's Ł10 net/hour when you have kids in different age, Ł11/hour with same age children (as it's a bit harder to cope with them), and Ł12/hour for nanny-share as you have two different families here.
That's how it works now in general.
But I know girls, who take more or less for it.

£10 per hour for 1 year old and 3 year old. That seems to be the going rate - one friend with twins pays £11 per hour, another in a nanny share pays £12 between two families.

You can always call some agencies too.

I am looking to employ a nanny for 4 days a week to look after two children (sole charge). We live just off the Northcote Road. I was just wondering if people could please let me know what hourly rate they pay their nanny for looking after two so I can get a feel for the market? Or any nannies out there who could let me know what they would expect? I appreciate we will need to pay income tax / NICs on top. Many thanks for your help.
