Thanks all! I have just checked the travelmoney... website and I've found a very good rate close to my office, that's great!
I have also compared with the post office and it is actually not very good, only slightly better than my bank.

going from Euros to pounds, find a friend going on holiday this summer.... If you need the money quickly, then use the postoffice, but their rates aren't the best

I use the website above, basically you put in what you want to change and it will tell you the bureaux with the best rates. It's usually ICE in Waterloo or else a place near Liverpool St which also has branches at Victoria and a few other locations. Your order online beforehand and then go and pick it up and the rate you get is very close to spot. There is also an option to have it delivered.

hi,
I find that the post office is usually pretty good. alternatively, outlets like Travelex do give a good rate if you pre-book - not sure if you can do that with cash though

Hi, I'm looking for a recommendation for a bureau de change that would provide good rates for changing a few hundred Euros to Pounds. Thanks
