Posted link above of an old conversation that has some suggestions.

I also go to http://www.stmarks-battersea.org.uk/RiseandShine which is great for your toddlers age and they have a baby area. Will be open again term time, after the Easter holidays.

All the best,
Stella

Thanks Super Dad. Unfortunately my daughter looks like she's a bit too young at the moment as she's only 20 months but looks good for when she's older. Would be good to find an activity on Mondays or Tuesdays to do with her that is suitable for 18 months + and I can take my newborn along to. What do other mums/dads do to entertain their little ones in SW12/SW11 and get them out of the house?

There is a drama / movement class for toddlers every Tuesday at 1.30 pm at Sammy Duder's at the southern end of Webb's Road, which you could easily walk to. Plus it's a drop off class, so useful if you want to do a spot of shopping on the Northcote Road.

Hi Pie81, I didn't know about Cafe207 so I will definitely try that out and also check if I can take my 20 month old along to the NCT playgroup at St Michael's Church. Thanks very much for the suggestions.

Hello, a couple of ideas

The NCT run a playgroup at St Michaels Church, Cobham close just off wandsworth common on Mondays. It's for newborn babies up to those just beginning to walk in theory but I doubt they'd turn away a 20 month old especially if you also have a newborn.

Cafe 207 on Trinity Road, a cafe with a big play area, kind of like a cafe slash playgroup.

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good playgroup or other activities that would work well to take my newborn baby and toddler (20 months old) to on a Monday or Tuesday? I live near Wandsworth Common train station and need something that's within walking distance as I don't drive. I'd really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
