Agree with Clare74. It is quite bright once your eyes adjust to the night time. We half cover our son's with a cloth to dim it a bit and it's half way across the room.

We have a gro-clock and it doesn't have anything to attach with (and to be honest, I probably wouldn't anyway - you can never be too sure with cables!).

But our clock is across the room from my son's bed on top of a chest of drawers and he can see it fine - it helps that it also changes colour from day to night, so you don't necessarily need the detail. Plus:
- The glow is quite bright (by night-time conditions) so I also feel having it a little bit away from the cot might be better anyway.
- I've heard that some children quickly learn to adjust the settings (or just play with the buttons) if they're within reach, which isn't always helpful either!

Hope this helps.

Gro-clock question

Is it possible to attach a gro-clock (or similar) to a cot side or headboard? Cables safely tied out of the way.

I'd like to get my daughter one, but she doesn't have a bedside table.
