We have a gro-clock and it doesn't have anything to attach with (and to be honest, I probably wouldn't anyway - you can never be too sure with cables!).
But our clock is across the room from my son's bed on top of a chest of drawers and he can see it fine - it helps that it also changes colour from day to night, so you don't necessarily need the detail. Plus:
- The glow is quite bright (by night-time conditions) so I also feel having it a little bit away from the cot might be better anyway.
- I've heard that some children quickly learn to adjust the settings (or just play with the buttons) if they're within reach, which isn't always helpful either!
