Jane saved the day! We had beautiful balloons within an hour of calling her at the last minute after seeing this recommendation. Truly fabulous local service!

Thank you Jane and NVN for being such a great local resource!

Just wanted to highly recommend Jane the Balloon Lady

We had a party on Saturday and I decided at 8.30am that morning that I needed decorations, this post came up on google, I called her and by 10.30am I had my helium balloon decorations!

Don't know what I'd do without this webiste!!!

Just to add that DIY canisters are fine but be aware that they will only inflate 50 9" balloons........inches in latex are very important (ho ho)...I never use 9" balloons because their float time is so short. I always use 12" balloons. So make sure you know this as you will use up more gas...you might end up over-inflating and popping a few....etc etc. I can get very boring about it but have been doing balloons for 18 years now....x

Not sure if my post worked....here it goes again!

Oooh! Please try me! I am The Balloon Lady....work from and live at home in Wandsworth. Can deliver or you can pick up balloons from me at your convenience.
90p for a standard helium latex balloon - and you always get a little extra!
Certainly not a fiver for foils....

I've done balloons for lots of Nappy Valleyers!

Have a look at my website on www.jagballoons.com or ring me on 07885 401277

The DIY option is to buy a helium cannister and 50 balloons online for about £30. If you need fewer balloons you could alays share the cost of the gas with a friend - we've got one doing the rounds of our NCT gang as our babes are all having parties this month. You can buy on Ebay or just google it...

Kinda useless-info-ish, but apparently worldwide stockpiles(?!) of helium are decreasing, and since it is important in industry, etc, prices are liable to increase a lot in next few years, so make the most of it now!

Have you tried the balloon shop on Garratt Lane in Earlsfield? I think they are quite reasonable.

Hi does anyone know the cheapest place to buy helium balloons in the Clapham/ Balham/ Battersea area please -it seems to be £1 per balloon and about a fiver for the foil ones -party costs are creeping up so please let me know if you have found cheaper!!
