Oh and if you do decorate your house to welcome little visitors, make sure you have around 5 tubs of sweets and expect them to knock up until 9pm!!

Hope you don't mind me piggy backing your post but was wondering what time people typically trick or treat around the northcote rd? We are planning to take our 2 yr old out for the first time.

And thanks for confirming our suspicions re whose house to knock on. We sat in last year with a bucket of treats but not one person knocked :-( We will decorate the outside of the house with Halloween paraphernalia this time!

I can confirm that the Magdalen Estate is awash with little terrors come the 31st of October.... The Toastrack is particularly busy.... a hub of little horrors thanks to the number of US Expats currently living there....

... They even had the "Ghostbusters" Cadillac cruising around one year ... complete with sound affects!

Check out your local NCT pages. Wandsworth has a party at the Little Gym and Tooting and Mitcham have one at Eddie Catz. Each have photographers to capture your cutie in a Halloween costume.
Tickets need to be bought in advance though. No need to be a member.

Hi all, Savills Northcote Road office is being transformed into a ghoulish graveyard on Friday 31 October. There will be plenty of tricks and treats from 5pm to 7pm so please do bring your little monsters to see us.

99 Northcote Road, SW11 6PL.

There's a pumpkin parade on Tooting COmmon next Sunday (26th) from 3:30-5 pm. And Jumping Beans playgroup is having a Halloween party (free entry) from 9:30-11:30 next Thursday 23rd at Garratt Park in Earlsfield. Not sure where you are located, but Streathbourne Road off Tooting Common also hosts loads of trick'or'treaters, and like previous poster, the houses make it pretty obvious who has candy with pumpkins, lights, decorations, etc. Enjoy!

Between the Commons (all the roads off Northcote) is awash with trick or treaters every year and the houses that welcome then are clearly highlighted by the presence of lit pumpkins outside.

That said, a 2 month old might be a bit young for all the chocolate and sweets handed out and the general mayhem!

Why not try and find a playgroup or one oclock club that's having some sort of Halloween activity?

I am interested in this too! I have a 3-month old boy and am new to the area - so would love to find out where to go!

Trick or Treat!

Hello all,

I have a 2 month old baby girl with an adorable Halloween costume that I'd like to take for a spin this year but I realise that we're all dressed up with no where to go. Can anyone suggest a neighborhood where trick or treaters are welcome?

Thanks in advance!
