My husband and my boys go to http://www.froudandcogentlemanshairdressers.co.uk/
on Lavenderhill.
It's held by two cousins (very nice chaps) and I think it's been in their family for 2 or 3 generations.
It looks a bit old fashion but they do excellent cuts, and it's cheap: only £9 per cut for boys.
No appointments needed but even on a Saturday we never wait more than 15 minutes.
I definitely recommend them and that's a good local business, as NVNetters love them!

Hey there

I take my kids to Headmasters on Bedford Hill. They are very good. They charge the same as Trotters I think (£14?), but more than a barber's of course.

They do get booked up so plan in advance
